I love the book The Teddy Bears’ Picnic so I thought it would be fun to do an activity around the story.

You don’t have to go outside to have a picnic you can set up a towel on the floor inside, read the story, sit with your teddy bears, and eat your picnic food. I hope you enjoy this idea.

Activity Idea Letter Heart Beanbag Toss

This activity works on letter recognition and hand-eye coordination. Children can also write the letters on the hearts, working on small motor skills. You could even cut out different shapes for the letters to go onto. When they toss the bean bag onto on next to the letter then can say the name of the shape, the letter, and the sound the letter makes. I hope you enjoy the many ways to play this game!
