Evangelist Guide

[faq_question id=”1″]What’s a Cullen’s Abc’s Evangelist?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”1″]An evangelist is a Cullen’s Abc’s affiliate. Affiliates are individuals who earn money by recommending products and services. If you are an affiliate, whenever a user that you sent to the site makes a purchase, you get a commission for that sale.
[/faq_answer]
[faq_question id=”2″]How does it work?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”2″]When you sign up to become an affiliate you are assigned an affiliate link. Affiliate links are just like regular Cullen’s Abc’s links, but they have your name on them. People that reach the site using those links are tagged by our system as being referred by you. If they make purchases on the site, then you will receive a percentage out of those transactions.[/faq_answer]
[faq_question id=”3″]How much do affiliates earn?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”3″]All affiliates earn 30% of every purchase their referrals make. This means that if a user came to our site using your affiliate link, and later purchases a Cullen’s Abc’s Lifetime Membership, you will get 30% of $109.95 ( $33 ) out of that sale credited on your account. You will earn revenue on every single transactions your referrals make, so there’s always room for you to grow your revenue![/faq_answer]
[faq_question id=”4″]What’s special about the Cullen’s Abc’s affiliate program?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”4″]We have several unique features on our program. The most important one you need to know is that you will get 30% out of all transactions the people you referred make, including recurrent memberships. So if you sell a monthly subscription, you will create a monthly income stream that won’t go away unless the user cancels the account. But this is not the only perk that Cullen’s Abc’s affiliates enjoy: another upside is that our tracking cookie lasts for 120 days! This means that a person that came to the site using your affiliate link, and doesn’t make a purchase right away but four months from now, will still count as referred by you.[/faq_answer]
[faq_question id=”5″]How do I use my links?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”5″]We put together some banners and resources for you to get started: you’ll find those under your Affiliate Dashboard > Links & Banners. You can use those banners on your website, your Facebook page, Pinterest profile, Twitter or any other Internet site where you can post content. Remember that the important part is using your affiliate link, so you can make your own banners and text ads as long as the link is there.

[faq_question id=”13″]What’s an URL, and how are my affiliate URLs different?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”13″]An URL is the address you enter on your browser when you want to load a website or page. If you want to go to Cullen’s Abc’s, you would enter cullensabcs.com on your browser: that’s an URL. The URL for the Online Preschool is cullensabcs.com/online-preschool, and the URL for the patterns page is cullensabcs.com/patterns. Your affiliate URLs are a bit different because they have your name on them: they are unique to you and are used to tell Cullen’s Abc’s that the person who came through them got to the site referred by you.[/faq_answer]
[faq_question id=”14″]What’s my affiliate URL?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”14″]affiliate-linksTo see your affiliate URL, go to your Evangelist Dashboard (http://cullensabcs.com/cullens-abcs-evangelist-dashboard/), click on Links & Banners and see the first element (My Affiliate Link). That’s the URL you want to share with others: when they use it they will be taken straight to the Online Preschool landing page.[/faq_answer]
[faq_question id=”15″]What are affiliate ads?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”15″]Within your Links & Banners sections, you will find several links already created for you. They point to different parts of the site, generally to other products, and you can use them to direct your prospects to that exact page instead of having them land on the Online Preschool frontpage and navigate from there. These ads are in HTML format, meaning you will need to use them somewhere that allows HTML, like your website or emails. Most social networks won’t allow you to publish using HTML, but will rather ask you for an URL that they can link to. Ads come in two versions: text ads and banners.

TIP: If you want, you can get the URL for a given product out of any kind of ad, and use it anyway you want, including on social networks. To do that, just copy the ad to your notepad and find your affiliate URL for that product inside the a tag. [/faq_answer]
[faq_question id=”16″]What’s a text ad?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”16″]text-adsA text ad is an HTML A tag that points to a product using your affiliate URL. Text links are the most common type of links found on the Internet: they show up as clickable text, that takes the user to the new address after they activate them.[/faq_answer]
[faq_question id=”17″]What’s a banner ad?[/faq_question]
[faq_answer id=”17″]banner-adsA banner ad is a bit more complex, in the sense that it’s displayed as a clickable image. For these ads to work, we need to provide not just the a tag as with text ads, but also an image (an HTML img tag). These kind of links won’t work on most social networks if copied and pasted. You can still get them to work, but it will require a bit more work on your part!

TIP: You know how to get the URL out of an ad. If you also want to take the image to use it on your promotions, you can right click on it and save the image to your computer.[/faq_answer]
