After Miss Cullen introduces a part of Circle Time she announces and holds up a “Teacher Helper Time” sign. You should pause the video and lead the class offline through that part of Circle Time. When you are done click play on the video to continue to the next part of Circle Time.
Review - Together we sing the “Circle Time” song and the “Hi There” song. Look at the calendar and sing the “Days of the Week” song. This is a great time to review the days of the week, months of the year and the number of the day. Then check the weather and compare it to your weather dial. Now Miss Cullen is going to tell us all about Sheep. Sheep make the sound Baaaa. Can you say that with Miss Cullen? Baaaa. Next, look at the pictures of sheep with the children. Sheep have wool- that is the fuzzy coat that surrounds them. It keeps them warm in the winter but they are shaved each spring so they don’t get too hot in the summer. Did you know that a baby lamb can hear and recognize the sound of their mother’s voice? Sheep and lambs eat grass. Children learn about the letters in this part of the Online Preschool. Click here to learn how to lead this activity. A different letter is featured each class, and Miss Cullen teaches about upper and lower case, how to make the sound of the letters and will also show, taste and describe foods that begin with that letter. (It is only optional to have and taste the foods.)
Learn about the letter A with Miss Cullen and Gator. First Miss Cullen and Gator are going to show the upper and lower case letter A. Then review the sound of the A. Next look at three types of food that start with the letter A: apple, avocado and almond. If you have these items at home you can try them with Miss Cullen and discuss what it looks like, feels like, tastes like, sounds like and smells like. Click here or the "Extra Content" box above to watch this video! If you'd like you can also watch my prep video and learn more about my video food series by clicking here!
Remember, when trying the different foods, it has to go in your mouth but it doesn't have to stay there. But it is always good to try something new.

God made all of the animals. Listen to this Bible verse:
Genesis: Chapter 1 Verse 9
“And God saw that it was good.”
God knows that everything that he made was good. Look at the different animals that Miss
Cullen holds up and know that God made this animal and that it is good. The first photo is of a
frog. Frogs are green and say ribbit. Next is a dog. This dog is brown and says ruff, bark or
woof. Next is a duck. Ducks go quack and this one is yellow with a little orange. And finally this
is a cat. This cat is orange and black with a pink nose. Cats say meow.
Now pray with Miss Cullen thanking Him for all of the animals that He made. “God thank you for
today. Thank you for loving us and keeping us safe. Thank you so much for all the animals that
you made. We love you! Amen.”

Miss Cullen announces it is “Art Time” and holds up the “Teacher Helper Time” sign. Cut out the shape of a sheep body and a sheep head. Give these to your child and have him/her glue the head onto the body however they like. Next, have your child decorate the sheep using crayons to draw a face and color. Or your child can use cotton balls to make the sheep fluffy. Your child can use the cotton balls intact and just glue them directly on or you can have your child stretch them out before gluing them on. Another option for decorating is to mix glue and shaving cream together and have your child paint with that. Once it dries it will be
puffy.
