In this activity, Miss Cullen interactively starts the day and introduces the four parts of Circle Time: Special Helper, Calendar, Today’s Weather and the Theme Discussion. You may click the this link or the "Extra Content" button about to watch the video.
After Miss Cullen introduces a part of Circle Time she announces and holds up a “Teacher Helper Time” sign. You should pause the video and lead the class offline through that part of Circle Time. When you are done click play on the video to continue to the next part of Circle Time.
Today we are going to talk all about Ladybugs! Ladybugs have six legs, they are usually red with black spots but they can be found in other colors, and they can fly. Count the number of legs on a ladybug with Miss Cullen. A lady bug has two types of wings: Hard, outer wing that have the color and an Inner, transparent pair of wings. The outer wings protect the inner wings and the inner wings allow the ladybug to fly. A ladybugs favorite food is an aphid. A single ladybug can eat as many as 50 aphids in one day! A ladybug also has a pair of antenna. These are feelers. They allow the ladybug to feel things and sniff out other bugs that they like to eat. Many ladybugs hibernate during the long winter months. That means that they sleep for a long time. So that is why you only see them during the springtime, summer and fall!
Listen to a story told by Miss Cullen about Isabel the Spider. Click here or the "Extra Content" button and watch my video as we do our Circle Time together!
Bonus Video! If you choose at the end of Circle Time play the Itsy Bitsy Spider Felt Board Story video. Miss Cullen interactively tells a story with the Itsy Bitsy and at the end sings the Itsy Bitsy song. When finished start the next activity on your daily schedule.

Children learn about the letters in this part of the Online Preschool. Click here to learn how to lead this activity. A different letter is featured each class, and Miss Cullen teaches about upper and lower case, how to make the sound of the letters and will also show, taste and describe foods that begin with that letter. (It is only optional to have and taste the foods.)
Join Miss Cullen and Gator to learn about the letter E. First Miss Cullen and Gator are going to show the upper and lower case letter E. Then review the sound the letter E makes. Next look at one type of food that start with the letter E: egg. If you have this item at home you can try it with Miss Cullen and discuss what it feels like, tastes like, sounds like and smells like. Make sure that the egg is hard boiled! Click here or the "Extra Content" box above to watch this video! If you'd like you can also watch my prep video and learn more about my video food series by clicking here!
Remember, when trying the different foods, it has to go in your mouth but it doesn't have to stay there. But it is always good to try something new.

We are going to sing a song today about our Bible Superhero David.
David and the Giant
(to the tune of: "Pop Goes the Weasel")
There once was a giant who wanted to fight God's chosen people
All were scared and wanted to hide, Then out came David.
David was a small shepherd, But he trusted God
He took a sling and five little stones Down fell the giant.
