Learn about the letter P with Miss Cullen and Gator. First, Miss Cullen and Gator are going to show the upper and lower case letter P. Then review the sound of the P. Next look at three types of food that start with the letter P: paprika, pineapple and pepper. If you have these items at home you can try them with Miss Cullen and discuss what it feels like, tastes like, sounds like and smells like.
Remember, when trying the different foods, it has to go in your mouth but it doesn’t have to stay there. But it is always good to try something new.

Today we are going to talk about how God created the world. Ask the children if they know what the word created means. It means you make something and that is exactly what God did; he made the world. On the first day god made the light. So, you could separate lightness from darkness. On the second day God made the water and clouds. On the third day God made the trees, flowers and the land. On the fourth day he made the sun, moon and stars to shine at night. On the fifth day God made the birds to fly in the sky and the oceans and all the animals that live in the ocean. On the sixth day God made animals and people; a man named Adam and a women named Eve. On the last day God rested because he was tired from making the whole world. (For each day God created you could have your child draw a picture on a paper plate).
